A day in a working mother’s shoe!

My day starts at 4:45 am when my 2 1/2 year old climbs into our bed and asks for oatmeal every day before he almost pees himself. While, he has his oatmeal, I get less than 5 minutes to clean the kitchen, then get him ready for school.

I work from home these days and I have noticed I get more work done in comparison to the days I used to work in an office environment. I don’t get to have the by the water cooler chat breaks and I spend more time discussing strategies with each client.

By 3:30 pm, I’m off the door to go pick up my son from school. I rush home to make dinner. By the time, everyone is fed, the child is played with and he is off to bed, I only have 1 hour to hit the gym, 1 hour to continue with work left over from earlier, before I pass out at around 12 a.m.

Yes, I live a very stressful life, just like every other working mother out there. To remain calm and not lose it, I drink tea. I also drink tea because I like to live a healthier life, but mainly to release my daily stress. I find Borage Tea to be calming. I have been drinking Borage tea for medicinal purposes all throughout my life, but now that I’m older and need Borage tea to reduce stress. When I was younger, my mom used to give me Borage Tea for cold and Flu. when I got older, Borage tea used to help me deal with menstrual pain.

I can easily say, I’m a calmer person since I have been drinking this tea. Borage has been used for thousands of years in China, Iran and India for medicinal purposes.
