4 a.m. my 2 ½ year old runs into our bedroom and jumps on his dad and I. He is hungry and wants breakfast. He had no idea that both mom and dad worked till 12 a.m. the night before.

4:25 a.m.  make the little monster breakfast

4.26 a.m. make me a cup of Borage tea because it is going to be a very long day

5:00 a.m. clean up the kitchen. And fold the laundry.

5:30 a.m. jump on the treadmill for an hour while my son plays in the basement with his toys and touches everything he can possible find.

6:45 a.m.  Take a quick shower, make something quick for my son for lunch at school.

7 a.m. have another cup of tea but this time the Cinnamon blended Tea

7:30 a.m.  our first attempt to leave home for school. 7:45 a.m. Yes, we finally got the child in the car with his school bag, and my 3 different bags.

8:30 a.m.  drop my son at school and spend another 10 minutes saying goodbye and get back in the car.

9:00 a.m.  walk into the office and start dealing with 1278 emails that have accumulated from 12 a.m. last night. Answer as many as humanly possible.DSC_2629

9:30 a.m.  first meeting of the day with the staff.

10 a.m.  meet with client #1 of today.

10:56 a.m. have another cup of Cinnamon blended Tea

11 a.m. meet with client #2

11:50 a.m. run out of the office to make a 12 p.m. lunch with client #3

1 p.m. rush back to the office for a call conference that has already started 10 minutes ago and everyone is already discussing how to execute the strategy they came up with 10 minutes ago.

2 p.m.  Try to answer few more emails from the pile of now 1480 emails.

3 p.m.  Rush out of the office to go and get the little man from school.

3:45 p.m.  Pick up the little man and hear his 15 minute story about his wonderful time playing with dinosaurs

4 p.m. Run inside the grocery store to pick up few items for dinner, breakfast and lunch the next day.

5 p.m. Get home and put the groceries way

5:14 p.m. start cooking dinner while my son literally hands on one of my legs.

6 p.m. husband walks through the door

6:30 p.m.  have dinner

7 p.m. Take my son swimming or gymnastics or ice skating, or tobogganing, whichever we have planned for the night.

8 p.m. Little Man’s bath time.

8:20 p.m. story time

9 p.m. Now I get 15 minutes to open a book and read few pages before I have to catch up on the now 2560 emails from work .

9:12 make myself a cup of tea

9:15 p.m. catch up on the emails from work

12 p.m. Head on to bed to start my day again at 4:30 a.m.
